multiple-choice question
An exam item that gives a question and several options, of which the candidate picks the one correct answer.
Most of a CompTIA exam is made of these items, alongside a few performance-based questions. A qualifier in the stem, such as best or first, decides between options that are all partly true. Reading the requirement before the options keeps a plausible distractor from winning.
