Common UNIX Printing System: the Linux print service, which accepts jobs over IPP on port 631 and sends them to printers.

lpstat -p lists printers and their state, lp -d printer file prints, and lpadmin adds or changes a printer. The cupsd service also offers a web interface on port 631.
