connector state

The status Kafka Connect reports for a connector and for each of its tasks.

The REST status endpoint shows RUNNING, PAUSED, FAILED or UNASSIGNED for the connector and every task separately. A connector can be RUNNING while one task has FAILED; restarting only that task fixes it.
